Create a schedule
Choose New schedule on the Preventive Maintenance page.
- Property and task
- For example Pine Cabin, Replace HVAC filter. Add details the vendor should know every time.
- Repeats every
- 1 to 365 days, weeks, months or years.
- First due date
- Every later date counts from this one. Doing a job late doesn't push the next one back.
- Create work item
- On the due date, or a number of days before it to give your vendor notice. The lead time must be shorter than the repeat.
- Assigned to
- A vendor, someone on your team, or let REMI recommend a vendor each time.
- Priority
- Let REMI decide each time, or fix it. Priority sets how hard REMI chases the vendor.
You can also ask REMI in your chat. It repeats the schedule back and waits for your yes. To name who does the job, use a vendor or team member already saved in People.
Try saying
Your chat with REMIWhen it comes due
- REMI opens a work itemWith the task, details, priority and the due date.
- It lets you knowBy email, if you set a notification email. Urgent and emergency jobs also come to your chat with REMI.
- It lines up the workWith a vendor assigned, REMI asks you to approve the first message as usual. With a team member assigned, REMI hands it to them. With no one assigned, REMI recommends a vendor for your approval.
- It follows up until it's doneThen the next date is already set.
Only one job per schedule is open at a time. See how vendor approvals and follow-ups work.
