Dashboard and controls

The dashboard answers two questions: what needs you, and what has REMI already done. This page explains each part, where REMI sends its alerts, and how to switch REMI off.

WhereDashboardOrganization

Needs you

Only decisions and stuck work appear here, most urgent first. When it says Nothing needs your attention, REMI has the rest. Typical items:

Approve a vendor
REMI picked a vendor for a work item and needs your yes. Choose Review vendor.
Approve a first message
The first message REMI wants to send a vendor, ready for you to send or edit.
A work item needs you
An escalation, a vendor who stopped replying, or a job reported done that you should check.
Cleaner coverage needed
No cleaner has confirmed a turnover. Choose Arrange cleaner.
Cleaning not arranged
A checkout within the next 7 days has no cleaning set up.
Overlapping stays
Two confirmed reservations overlap at one property.

No one is contacted until you approve it. Vendor outreach always waits for you.

REMI handled

The latest things REMI finished on its own, with the time in the property's time zone. For example Cleaner confirmed, Follow-up reminder sent, Duplicate report merged or Inspection handoff sent.

Today and Up next

Today counts check-ins, check-outs and same-day turnovers. Up next draws a line for each property from the current stay to the next check-in, with the cleaning in between:

  • Confirming with Ana REMI has asked the cleaner and is waiting.
  • Ana confirmed The cleaning is covered.
  • Cleaner coverage needed Nobody has said yes yet.
  • At risk The property has an emergency or urgent work item open.

Work items at a glance

Open work items counted by property and priority. Tap any number to open that list on the Work Items page. Preventive maintenance shows schedules that are overdue or due soon, and System health shows REMI, your PMS and your messaging connection.

Where alerts go

REMI interrupts you only when you need to act or know now. Everything else waits on the dashboard.

WhereWhat arrives there
Your chat with REMIApprovals, new urgent and emergency work items, a priority raised to urgent or emergency, and anything blocked or waiting on your decision. Also reminders about approvals you haven't answered.
EmailEvery new work item, changes to status, assignment and priority, and finished jobs, plus a copy of most chat alerts. Only once you add a notification email.
DashboardEverything, including the routine work REMI handled quietly.
  • Routine progress sends nothing. While REMI still has a way forward, like a backup cleaner to ask, it doesn't message you.
  • If you ask REMI for something in a group, it answers in that group rather than messaging you separately.
  • There are no push notifications, daily digests or quiet hours. See holding reminders back for ways to quiet REMI.
  • Operational email starts once you add an address under Organization, in Notification email, or as the Primary Operator's email in People. Leave it empty to stop operational emails.

REMI's alerts start with a label in square brackets so you can tell them apart. See what each label means.

Turn REMI off

The switch is under System health on the dashboard. You can also tell REMI "Turn REMI off" in your private chat.

  1. Choose Turn off and confirmREMI stops listening, replying, creating work items and sending reminders. Anything queued is cancelled.
  2. A banner shows on every pageMessages that arrive while REMI is off are never processed later.
  3. Choose Turn on REMI to resumeREMI picks up from that moment and re-plans turnovers for any reservations that changed.
Just one group?

To quiet REMI in a single group chat, open it under Conversations and switch on Pause automation. REMI keeps the group's messages but stops acting on them.
